2015 has proven to be another successful year for Canon at FESPA (18-22 May 2015, Cologne).
This year the architecture of the stand took a themed approach, guiding visitors through a diverse range of wide format application possibilities, along with Canon wide format experts discussing key trends in the areas of Retail, Packaging and Promotion, and Design to Manufacture.
Live demonstrations and detailed industry-specific stand tours helped visitors look beyond print and explore how digital and online platforms can also be used to transform print service providers into strategic communications partners.
An insights magazine aimed at showing print service providers how they can take advantage of a dynamic and changing market such as Retail was available on the stand to complement this applications focus, while six applications showcases demonstrated the vast possibilities from the Canon wide format portfolio, including the Océ Arizona, Océ ColorWave and Canon imagePROGRAF ranges. Many of these materials are now available at http://www.canon-europe.com/fespa/.
Commenting on the success of the show, Pierre-Olivier Esteban, European TDS & DGS Marketing Director, Canon Europe commented:
FESPA is a unique opportunity to engage with a wide, but also relevant, audience. We recognise that this event offers a positive environment where customers can explore new possibilities and make considered investment decisions. From a business point of view FESPA 2015 has been just as strong as 2014.
Throughout the show we were able to tell the ‘whole Canon wide format story’ and it was encouraging to receive feedback that customers were clearly excited by the applications made accessible with our comprehensive technology portfolio, from the Océ Arizona 6100 Series and Canon imagePROGRAF devices to the newly launched Océ ColorWave 700.
On a separate stand, Canon also showcased the DreamLabo 5000 production inkjet photo printer at FESPA 2015, demonstrating the professional quality photo book printing service hdbook™, powered by Canon, as well as discussing the latest trends and developments in the growing photo book market.
