Canon recognised with prestigious iF UNIVERSAL DESIGN honours

London, UK, 03 March 2016 – Canon, world leader in imaging solutions, announced today that four Canon MAXIFY inkjet business printers were awarded the universal design expert favourite 2016 prize by iF UNIVERSAL DESIGN.

The prestigious international accolade, bestowed by a jury of experts, marked Canon’s first UNIVERSAL DESIGN favourite prize. This recognition of design excellence is testament to Canon’s commitment to developing products that combine the highest levels of both performance and design.

Launched in the second half of 2014, Canon’s MAXIFY range of inkjet business all-in-ones and printers for small-office/home-office users supports improved business productivity through high-speed, high-capacity print performance.

The UNIVERSAL DESIGN competition, organised by iF UNIVERSAL DESIGN & SERVICE, was established with the aim of recognising and encouraging outstanding product design, services and architecture that boast broad, simple and intuitive use and speak to people across all generations.
