Protect your colour output perfectly – from large posters to presentation and promotional material – without the limits of conventional lamination. Now the new Canon TS4400 Thermal Sealer unit, utilizing Canon unique technology, makes it possible.
The thermal transfer technology utilized in the TS4400 sets completely new standards for the industry. It transfers the protective sealant from the film onto the printout, using a combination of heat and pressure. As the system operates at a lower temperature than standard hot lamination, it prevents trapped air pockets. It is particularly suitable for ink jet printouts, which can be heat sensitive, offering you a efficient, cost-effective finish.
The protective layer provided by the TS4400 ensures that your printed media is resistant to spillage, rain, moisture and scratch damage. The sealant also safeguards your work from the fading effects of sunlight, as it protects inks from ultra violet rays. Resulting in longer lasting printouts that retain their high quality colour. Yet they can still be rolled up of folded – without any risk of cracking.
As Transfer Seal Film is suitable for most print media, it is invaluable for a wide range of applications. Available in matt or gloss, it is particularly effective with coated, glossy or synthetic paper – and also works perfectly with thinner media such as tracing paper or newsprint. The TS4400 can handle media widths from an extra large A0+ (1118mm) down to A3 (420mm) – at lengths of up to 3 metres. Ideal for Canon wide-format printers, it is also fully compatible with media printed on all large format printers.
You can mark up sealed media with ease or even write on it with a ballpoint pen. Pin it on a board with confidence, as the protective layer will not let in water or air – unlike traditional laminated printouts. Output is cut automatically, reducing wastage and saving time and money. Yet, if necessary, you can trim prints down using an ordinary cutter.
All operations can be performed from the front of the machine- including media feeding, media pick up and film loading. The compact dimensions of the unit make it extremely suitable where space is at a premium.
You can be confident that the TS4400 won’t let you down. An automatic paper feed ensures uniform tension – thus removing the possibility of wrinkling. Furthermore, a fully enclosed design – as well as the use of non-adhesive film – prevents the risk of any dust or dirt intrusion on your finished output.
